Did you know that Microsoft gives all students and educators access to Microsoft 365 Education absolutely free? All you need is a school email address and you can get the Office 365 Education package at no cost to you.
Microsoft 365 Education includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft Teams, as well as, additional classroom tools. These are not trial versions – they are full versions you get for free if you are a student or educator with a valid school email address.
The programs can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs, as well as, up to five mobile devices. You also get free storage in OneDrive which can be accessed from any of your devices.
Many educational institutions qualify for this free offer. Microsoft has made it much more user-friendly now to determine if your school meets the qualifications – in which case you get instant access to the free programs.
You do need to have a valid school email address, and access to the email. If you are a student, go to office.com/getoffice365 and enter your email address to see if you are eligible. For teachers, go to office.com/teachers.
If you are a teacher that determines your school is a qualifying institution, provided your students have their own school email – they are eligible too. This is a great way to help your students get back to school with the tools they need. OneNote, which is included in the free offer will help you organize class materials and collaborate with students and other educators.
